The University of Wisconsin Madison Department of Anesthesiology celebrated Match Day on Friday, March 15th! Our department members gathered to eat lunch and watch medical students celebrate Match Day at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health via live stream. The SMPH event reflected the student-selected theme of “Mooving Forward,” where UW and medical students nationwide learned where they were matched for clinical residency training programs for most specialties.

Posters distributed by our educational team announced the results of our 2024 NRMP Match. We successfully matched with sixteen PGY1 residents and one CA1 resident.
