Dr. Siebert shared “Dr. McSweeney [she] has provided leadership and oversight for MD Admissions, from recruitment to matriculation.” She added “Dr. McSweeney and her team have made a considerable number of short and long-term improvements to the admissions process, setting priorities that align with the mission of the medical school to educate and train a diverse physician workforce. In fact, for the last 3 years, the SMPH MD program has matriculated a class of entering students where more than 30% are from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine, a percentage greater than all of our peer medical schools!”
Congratulations Dr. McSweeney!
